Five Days in the Fields

Five Days in the Fields

Wonderfruit, Pattaya, Thailand
2025

Inception

We were invited to be part of a global community in Asia that explores creative solutions for sustainable living and meaningful impact, and we knew immediately that what we brought had to be made for the land, the people, and the spirit of the festival.

We created a special set of silhouettes exclusively for Wonderfruit, pieces that honoured India’s most time-honoured techniques while remaining light, fluid, and alive in movement. We chose bandhani, plant-based dyeing processes, and colours drawn from the Indian landscape. The motifs, the textures, the fabric was rooted in culture.

For the first time, we also introduced embroidered cushion covers featuring our signature kantha embroidery, extending the language of the garments into the space itself. Wrap silhouettes, capes, skirts, kaftans, pieces meant to be lived in, danced in, held, and moved with.

Orchestration

What made the experience truly special was the way it all came together.

We arrived with nothing but a patch of grass. No walls, no structure, no signage. Everything had to be built by hand, slowly and intentionally.
Logos were not permitted as the community believes in creating a more immersive, experiential, and 'unconventional' atmosphere. The policy is designed to foster a deeper connection between attendees and partners, rather than just driving brand recognition.

It was a powerful reminder of a more conscious way of looking at consumerism.

Over five days in the fields, we watched the space transform. These were pieces ‘wonderers’ wanted to feel free in, while expressing their truest selves. Garments that moved with the body rather than restricting it, and instead invited exploration, discovery, and connection.

We created alongside inspiring musicians and creators; FKJ, Kerala Dust, Dawn of Midi and Hatis Noit, and experienced art and ritual installations by Tawatchai Puntusawasdi, Derek Tumala & Winsome Wong, and Keigo Tanaka. We soaked in Molam performances and shared space with practitioners from movement and voice circles, all of whom, in different ways, share the same mission, to elevate, expand, and awaken consciousness through what they create.

Composition

We watched the garments speak for themselves in the most honest way, and felt deeply supported by a community that values depth over noise. Seeing our India-inspired silhouettes so deeply embraced, and leaving the fields with empty suitcases, was deeply rewarding.

Wonderfruit is more than a festival. It is a living, breathing ecosystem where creativity, sustainability, and community meet, and being part of it felt deeply aligned with who we are and what we stand for.

A glimpse of our time in the fields.
