'TAMAN VANA' and Tri Hita Karana

'TAMAN VANA' and Tri Hita Karana

Taman meaning 'garden' in Indonesian, and Vana meaning 'ultimate bliss', encourages the traditional Balinese philosophy of 'Tri Hita Karana', or the 'three causes of well-being', which inspire harmonious coexistence between people, the natural world, and the divine.

Inception

Bali has evolved over the years, but its essence remains constant—a way of life so intentional, connected to nature, community and spirit.

Sometimes, real progress means unlearning to re-learn and re-connecting with time honoured traditions. Together with a traditional Balinese wellness and culture centre, we showcased our effortless linen silhouettes in an environment that authentically embodies mindful living, hoping to share a glimpse of True Bali.

Orchestration

The shoot began in the early hours of dawn, set among the lush surroundings of Taman Usada. The location served as both a muse and a stage, inviting us not only to capture but to absorb the essence of Bali.

Activities included preparing daily offerings, crafting intentional leaf-based food, harvesting coconuts, and taking serene walks through nature.

Composition

Each piece from our 100% linen collection tells a story, representing emotions and activities that connect us to the essence of who we really are.

Styled with natural hair, makeup, and locally sourced flowers as accessories.
